Abstract: 

Model-Driven Software Engineering (MDSE) is a Software development methodology that reduces the cost and production time of the final product by concentratingon a higher level of abstraction. The main focus of MDSE is to generate automated code by applying different types of transformations to high-level models. The effectiveness of MDSE has been proved in different domains for solving various types of problems. This research provides the bibliometric analysis of research in the field of MDSE. The population of the study consists of all MDSE articles indexed in the Web of Science database in ten years from 2010 to 2019. The work aims to identify the volume of scientific production, the most influential countries, universities, authors, and journals, the cooperation network among the countries, universities, and authors, keyword ranking, and Co-word analysis of keywords and titles of the articles. Keyword analysis revealed that Model Transformation and Model Checking are two very important clusters and topics of interest to researchers in this field. The results provide valuable insights that can be used as a guideline by both fresh and experienced researchers for the current state and future trend of MDSE research in different scientific disciplines to establish a baseline beforeinitiating an MDSE research project in the future.

Abstract: 

In recent years, an increasing number of Chemical Engineering Software (CES), which play an important role in improving efficiency in the petroleum industry, has been introduced to the market. Generally, Software is the product of intellectual creativity, but protection of the intellectual property residing in Software is the subject of some controversy.This paper explores the legal protection of Software products and its evolution over time. The approach of selected countries to Software protection is reviewed in comparison with the Iranian legal regime in the same field. Important concepts that need to be considered in acquiring effective protection of CES are presented. Software related patent classifications were reviewed and US inventions relating to them were collected using a professional patent data base. Finally, the CES inventions in each classification were investigated in comparison to the total number of Software patents. Consequently, the most referable classification for CES invention has been determined in this paper.

Abstract: 

Engineering education, alongside various fields of Engineering, requires research and importance. In Engineering sciences, numerical simulation using computer Software is one of the important research tools for engineers. MATLAB/Simulink Software is one of the practical Engineering Software. Due to its wide range of applications, training in this Software is of particular importance. In this paper, a training method based on a coherent set of blocks used for Engineering systems is introduced. This method is based on images and the goal is to implement the blocks in the Simulink environment. Factors such as the name, appearance, and performance of block components are important. The proposed method is effective in improving the recognition and mental maintenance of these factors. Examples of implementing this idea at different levels are introduced as assignments or tests. The experience of implementing this method over several semester shows that it can be easily implemented on various Engineering systems. The results from surveys on sustainability, recognition, and psychological aspects are analyzed. The effectiveness of the proposed package is investigated through pre- and post-test.

Abstract: 

Background: Resilience Engineering (RE) is a new approach to upgrade safety management systems. Due to its novelty in the field of safety, RE seems to be promising in providing good indicators to assess priorities in organizational strengths/weaknesses while planning to promote safety within organizations. Several methods have been recently developed to evaluate RE performance. The current study is an attempt to quantify and determine the priorities of RE dimensions in a steel industry using analysis network process (ANP). Methods: In this cross-sectional study, 489 male workers of a steel industry participated. For this purpose, the RE questionnaire was distributed among workers and, then, super decisions Software (version 3. 2) was used to analyze the data. Results: The results indicated that there was a sufficient level of RE in the organization where top management commitment with normalized weight 0. 1781 and awareness-opacity with normalized weight 0. 1483 were ranked as the first and last priorities of the organization, respectively. Conclusion: The results of this study showed that the top management system, with the adoption of safety policies, has been able to improve the performance of RE in the organization. Managers should consider appropriate measures to improve the RE situation.

Abstract: 

There is increasing demand for sophisticated Software Engineering processes in today's Software systems. In this regard, however, there is a multitude of different processes and each has various advantages and disadvantages some of which relate to the problem domain or in the context of development. Computer Software development processes have to pass through many scenarios to be completed. There are many ways to solve a single problem in Software development. Sometimes, in structural Engineering, the developer is not able to decide which process will suit a particular problem. It can be said that selecting a suitable process is a big issue in structural process Software Engineering, and the problem of selecting a good candidate method is a big issue in structural process Engineering. The solution of such kinds of problem can be found in the work to be done and the task to be performed by the operational process rather than by the process structure. This paper introduces the notion of process operationality and proposes ' process architecture' to represent this operationality. Thus, Structural Process Engineering (SPE) becomes Operational Process Engineering (OPE). Operationally close process architecture is selected, adapted, enhanced, and restricted as needed. The task of construction consists of putting together process features and structuring the new process.

Abstract: 

Background & Aims: One of the challenges of multidisciplinary disciplines such as Medical Informatics, Health Information Technology, etc., especially for those who have just begun research in this field, is the lack of familiarity with some of the key terms and applications of Software concepts, including frameworks. Methods: This study is based on search of databases (ProQuest, PubMed, Google Scholar, Science Direct, Scopus, IranMedex, Irandoc, Magiran, Pars Medline and Scientific Information Database (SID)). This investigation has done with the websites and the specialized books with standard key words. After a careful study, 56 sources were selected and used in the final article. Results: Frameworks are widely used in the field of health care and have produced valuable results. Considering the framework advantages in the health care sector among designing and estimating the systems in standard ways and comparing the systems in principle for identifying the gaps and introducing the capabilities, avoidance of reworking seem necessary. Therefore, after reviewing the literature we will explain about meaning, overlapping to the other meanings, components, steps, advantages, challenges, and the types of frameworks in general and their applications in the healthcare sector. Conclusions: The results of this research can help the researchers for doing the new research and understand the important concepts of that, thus it can be useful in designing and researching projects for researchers and health care providers as well.

Abstract: 

Agent technology enhances the ability of Software engineers to develop open, complex and distributed applications and now an increasing number of problems in industrial, commercial, medical and networking application domains are being solved by agent-based solutions. In developing these solutions, practitioners need appropriate methods, techniques and tools. In this paper, we introduce and justify agent-oriented Software Engineering as a layered technology. The layers of this technology are quality, agent oriented Software development process, agent-oriented methods, agent-based system architecture and agent development tools. This pragmatic approach will help developers and project managers to remove many pitfalls of agent-oriented Software development, helps researchers to determine the existing gaps in the current works and helps tool developers to organize their efforts for constructing agent-based tools. On the basis of this approach, an investigation on the current works in agent-oriented Software Engineering is presented. In this paper, umbrella activities for complementing the main activities and steps in the agent based development are introduced and described and a new classification and definition of testing activities for agent based systems is presented.
